Women's Football
Women's football has an important place at Peninsula Power. Our aim is a genuine pathway for female players, from junior football through to senior competition, in an environment that is competitive, welcoming and properly supported.
Power's women's program has a history of developing players and building strong teams across junior girls, youth girls and senior women's football. The legacy of the program includes former Power juniors who have progressed to represent Australia at senior or youth national level.
The focus is not only on results. It is also on access, affordability, coaching, facilities and standards. Players should have the chance to learn the game well, be challenged appropriately, and stay connected to football for as long as they want to play.
Peninsula Power continues to support junior girls, academy players, community players and senior women as part of a connected female football pathway — making the next step visible, whatever that step is.
